Why model Modern Image in 3mm TT scale? Mainstream British-outline TT is dead. The last "Ready To Run" (RTR) commercial products were made by Tri-Ang in about 1971 and even then in terms of Modern Image they only produced a DMU, a class 31 and a dodgy 08 shunter. No major manufacturer supports TT and even though it survives on the Continent thanks to the old eastern bloc manufacturer Berliner TT Bahnen (BTTB), none of that materiel is suitable as it is at 1:120 scale and British TT is at a scale of 1:101
So this means that everything is going to have to be built yourself. But then maybe that's the whole attraction in the first place...
