Luxembourg

Luxembourg city is an important international junction as the meeting place between Belgian, French and German state railways and their interconnecting international express services. Naturally the state railway companies SNCB, SNCF and DB had differing signalling and overhead power standards, so Luxembourg would be the loco changeover location. Therefore there was always a lot of activity with loco changes, run-rounds and light engine movements to/from their differently overhead powered stabling points.
